Kate is the Program Director of ONTrac at Peter Mac Victorian Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Service. A social worker by training, she has specialised in AYA Oncology for the past 10 years. Kate’s areas of interest include the development of responsive models of care and the provision of education to health practitioners. Her research interests lie at the interface between adolescent development, cancer care and the healthcare system. She is an investigator on a number of research initiatives funded through Cancer Australia, NHMRC and DOHA. Kate plays a leadership role in AYA oncology within Victoria and nationally; participating in various government, community and consumer committees.
