- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
I am the Head of Department of the Clinical Trials Unit at Peter Mac, responsible for a team of 40 research nurses, study coordinators and data entry managers. The clinical trials unit recruits patients to clinical trials covering all specialities of oncology and haematology, from phase I and first in human, through to phase III. Before taking up this role, I worked in the UK managing a haematology clinical trials unit for 8 years and then subsequently as Assistant Research & Development manager for all clinical research across a large NHS hospital. I am an NIHR accredited GCP trainer and GCP program lead, developing an ongoing working collaboration with the NIHR in the UK to facilitate research training and education in Australia.
