A/Prof Richard Cohn is Head of Clinical Oncology at Sydney Children’s Hospital and Head of the Long-term Follow-up Program for survivors of childhood cancer in the Centre for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Hospital. He is co-director (paediatrics) of the NSW cancer Survivor Centre, University of NSW, chairman of the national collaborative late-effects subcommittee of the Australian and New Zealand Children’s Haematology Oncology Group (ANZCHOG) and a member of the International Committee on harmonisation of late effects guidelines for follow-up of childhood cancer survivors. Richard has over 100 publications and is a co-investigator on a number of laboratory and clinical research grants. His survivorship research includes the establishment of a NSW wide cohort of childhood cancer survivors, linkage studies on mortality and second cancers, metabolic syndrome and the psychological impact of cancer on the child and family.
