Emma Croager

Emma Croager is Education & Research Services Manager at Cancer Council Western Australia. She leads a state-wide network of Health Promotion Officers responsible for the provision of cancer education and health promotion initiatives in regional WA, as well as a metro-based team of project officers and administration staff responsible for the publication and dissemination of cancer information.
Emma has a BSc in Organic Chemistry / Biochemistry, PhD in Biochemistry and worked for a number of years in cancer research before moving to the UK. Here she had a career change, working for Nature Reviews Cancer and Cancer Research UK. Since returning to Western Australia, Emma has worked for the Cancer Council for the last 9 years, completing the Healthway Leadership Development in Health Promotion Program in 2007 and an MBA from La Trobe University in 2009. Emma is a Fellow of the Public Health Association of Australia and is currently WA Branch President for PHAA.
