Dr Martin Haskett has specialized in dermatology since 1978 and subspecialized in the management of skin cancer since 1988. From 1990 he has been a consultant dermatologist at The Victorian Melanoma Service at The Alfred Hospital providing direct clinical services, attending a weekly multidisciplinary meeting that manages patients’ at all clinical stages of melanoma and supervising trainees of the Australasian College of Dermatologists undergoing training in Melanoma management. He was a member of the Cancer Council of Victoria taskforce that created and delivered a workshop on melanoma management for general practitioners. He was part of the Victorian Government task force that prepared the Patient Management Framework for melanoma patients. He is a Director of MoleMap Australia Pty.Ltd which introduced a telemedicine service for digital diagnosis and long term surveillance imaging for melanoma patients and those at risk for melanoma. He has lectured nationally and locally to both peers and general practitioners on dermoscopic diagnosis of melanoma.
