Prof Chris Paul is a behavioural scientist who has worked closely with Industry (both government and non-government) in cancer control, stroke and diabetes. Prof Paul is co-Deputy Director of the Hunter Cancer Research Alliance, chair of the HCRA Implementation Science Flagship, is a Research and Innovation Conjoint with the Hunter New England Local Health District; and Associate Dean (Research) for the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle. Much of Prof Paul’s published work has an emphasis on the trial and translation of effective behaviour change strategies. She has recently completed large multi-site NHMRC-funded intervention studies in support for lung cancer patients, implementing diabetes care in Aboriginal Health Services and implementing acute stroke care processes. She did not have any grey hair when she started these projects.
