A/Prof Georgia Halkett is a Senior Research Fellow based at Curtin University. She is one of very few radiation therapists in Australia and internationally to hold a PhD and be actively leading research relating to radiation therapy. She completed her PhD in December 2005 at the University of South Australia. Georgia is a qualified radiation therapist and practiced as a radiation therapist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital until 2006 when she moved to Perth. In 2007, she received her Fellowship of the Institute of Radiography.
