Sarah Everitt is a Research Radiation Therapist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Following clinical experience in Australia and at the Alberta Cancer Board, Canada, Sarah pursued clinical research and graduated with a PhD from Monash University in 2010. Sarah’s research interests include radiotherapy for lung cancer and studying the expanding role of PET/CT imaging in this field. Sarah has secured more than $1.7 million in grant funding and is a NHMRC New Investigator, studying the use of proven and novel PET radiotracers for biological monitoring of lung tumours and normal organs to chemo-radiation therapy.
