Annie Miller is the Director of Cancer Information and Support Services and is responsible for leading Cancer Council NSW’s contribution to its mission area of information and support for people affected by cancer, overseeing programs including 13 11 20 Information and Support, Information Resources and Services, Legal and Financial Support services, Peer Support, Transport to Treatment, Accommodation as well as a suite of Survivorship programs. Annie is also leading a new Connected Care initiative ensuring people affected by cancer will receive the support they need on the ground when they need it.
With a background in business, senior management, life coaching and stakeholder engagement across the not-for-profit and corporate sectors, Annie is passionate about translating research to development of strategic support services for effective and sustainable delivery across metro and rural areas. Annie has a depth of experience in innovative program and project development and community education. She is a Partner Investigator on Research grants and a member of the COSA survivorship working group. She holds Diplomas in Management, Business and Life Coaching and in addition to this she has more than six years of lived experience as a cancer carer.
