Ian Olver AM is a medical oncologist, bioethicist and researcher who is Director, Sansom Institute for Health Research, Professor of Translational Research and Dean, Research Strategy for the Division of Health Sciences at the University of South Australia. He currently chairs the Australian Health Ethics Committee of the NHMRC. He is President of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer. He has published over 270 papers, 22 book chapters and 7 books.
