Merran is an ovarian cancer survivor and a registered nurse. She works in a community based cancer survivor centre on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Her role encompasses case management from diagnosis, through treatment and palliative care. Psycho oncology is a major focus in this role, and she is able to share her personal experiences with cancer treatment with clients. She also helps coordinate a vibrant gynae cancer support group.
