Professor Robert Alexander (‘Frank’) Gardiner AM Professor, School of Medicine University of Queensland, Affiliate Professor, University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research, Consultant Urologist, Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, Brisbane, AUSTRALIA Professor Gardiner has been actively involved in prostate cancer research since 1978 with a major focus on early detection and patient management. He collaborates widely with a view to integrating basic science with clinical translation. He has been centrally involved in 5 investigator-initiated randomised clinical trials through the Urology Unit at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital since 1998.
